According to the Gartner Report: Rethink Cloud I&O Monitoring Across Tooling and Staffing, “By 2025, 80% of enterprises will have shut down their traditional data center, versus 10% today.”
As per the report, “As new technologies are deployed during cloud migrations, infrastructure, and operations (I&O) leaders are faced with existing monitoring tools that become increasingly misaligned. This causes slower identification of issues, lower end-user satisfaction, and a failure to meet business needs.”
The report highlights, “I&O leaders monitoring application and infrastructure environments that are migrating to the cloud face an increasingly disparate environment. This creates even more siloed monitoring teams, resulting in adverse events such as extended mean time to resolution (MTTR) and increased political in-fighting.”
