BenQ showcases innovative and interactive teaching tools at GESS 2021

Company’s solutions include germ-resistant interactive flat panels, wireless Android-based smart projectors and eye care monitors

BenQ, known for its education displays that are designed with its innovative technologies to deliver hybrid and blended learning focussed solutions, showcased its exciting range of education solutions at GESS (Global Education Supplies and Solutions) Dubai Exhibition 2021.

GESS is organised in association with the Ministry of Education and has been the focal point for education in the Middle East for 15 years. The exhibition provides educators and institutions access to advanced products and solutions that have been designed to meet the needs of the modern classroom by transforming the way students learn.

BenQ also showcased its unique smart education projectors and eye care monitors.

“Events like GESS offer a great platform for education businesses and academic users to gain access and understanding around the latest EdTech solutions that have been designed to make teaching and learning more effective and less strenuous,” said Manish Bakshi, MD, BenQ Middle East and Turkey.

“BenQ has upgraded some of its popular education solutions in light of changing learning requirements and has launched some exciting new ClassroomCare solutions to enhance classroom learning, convenience and safety, as a whole.

“The Solutions include germ-resistant interactive flat panels, wireless Android-based smart projectors and eye care monitors. We are happy to participate in this extremely relevant event for today’s education industry and are looking forward to reaching more users to better their learning experiences through our solutions.”

BenQ’s ClassroomCare Interactive Flat Panels, like the RE series, RP02 series  and RM02K series, can elevate teaching and learning experiences with their unique Cloud Whiteboard designed to create collaborative learning environments and encourage students to develop problem-solving, creative, and logical thinking skills.

All these large 4K UHD displays come equipped with germ-resistant screen, air quality sensors, and eye-care solutions to help minimise physical contact, reduce eye strain, and stay protected in the classroom.

BenQ Smart Projectors EW800ST, 4K Laser Projectors LK953ST & Wireless Presentation Solution WDC20 were also displayed at GESS 2021. The world’s first smart projector for classroom,  EW800ST, with built-in Android system, wireless internet connectivity, web browser enables school teachers to access and share online teaching material wirelessly without using a PC or laptop. With the smart projector’s wireless, PC-less and driver-less features, schools can achieve smart and blended learning in the classroom, easily and intuitively. They let users mirror the screens of devices connected to the same network and come equipped with AMS (Account Management Service). It can sync with popular cloud storage services to help teachers manage all their study materials.

LK953ST produces 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution which is four times the resolution of Full HD 1080p and delivers remarkable colours and clarity and crisply-defined details, which is perfect for larger trainings and learning experiences.

The DLP brand BenQ BlueCore projectors feature laser light sources guaranteed for 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, saving costs for lamp replacement and maintenance. Based on the average brightness cut-off of typical long-life lamps, BlueCore’s value exceeds that of 10 lamp replacements over the life of the projector.

BenQ also showcased its lightweight, yet powerful, conference cameras – the DVY 21, DVY 23, and DVY 32 – that have been designed to ensure smooth video conferencing without taking up meeting room or classroom space. These are great for blended learning classrooms as they have noise suppression that automatically removes unwanted frequency noise, ensuring crisp, clear audio recording for educators.

BenQ’s solutions are designed factoring in the growing and changing needs of students and teachers alike in the new normal. For instance, the GW2785TC monitor comes with different modes, like ‘Care’ with lower brightness and colour saturation, ‘Coding’ to make every colour pop out for coding efficiency, ‘Reading’ that filters harmful blue light and ‘ePaper’ mode that offers a simulated e-book effect, to help care for the users’ eyes during these times of amplified screen time for all.
