Kyndryl launches in Egypt to boost digital transformation

Kyndryl, the world’s largest provider of IT infrastructure services, has launched in Egypt with the intention of supporting the country’s digital transformation.

The recent Kyndryl launch event was attended by numerous representatives of the government, customers, partners and members of the press. Company spokespeople took the time to highlight the advantages of new and emerging technology and how they can be used to further innovation, digitalisation and to sharpen the country’s competitive edge.

Digital transformation is a key element to new economies and factors such as the pandemic and global adoption of new digital technologies is spurring governments on in their efforts to transform. Digital and enterprise technologies such as the cloud, and artificial intelligence, are considered key when addressing the demands of new work environments.

According to IDC, approximately 65% of global GDP will be digitalised by 2022 as companies and organisations create strategies that take in current and predicted business trends.
