An industry veteran, Niethammer joined CommScope’s cabling division in July 1994 and has held several key positions in product management, technical services and marketing within the organisation.

Since January 2013, Niethammer has been responsible for CommScope’s data centre market development in EMEA, ensuring that the company’s solutions enable customer’s data centre infrastructures to be agile, flexible and scalable to meet the requirements in this dynamic market segment, today and in the future.
He has extensive expertise in key industry segments such as data centres, fibre optics and AIM systems. He is also a member of several ISO/IEC and CENELEC standardisation committees and editor of several international standards.
Niethammer holds a chartered engineer degree in Electronic Engineering and is a graduated state-certified business economist.
