Bahrain-based cryptocurrency trading platform Rain is launching Rain Pro, which gives access to new trading features.

Earlier this month, the crypto exchange said it would lay off over a dozen employees as digital currency prices have plummeted.

“Rain launched Pro in response to an increasing demand from our customers for advanced trading features. We are dedicated to building Rain into not only a world class cryptocurrency trading platform, but also a platform for active and advanced crypto traders in the region. We’re excited to see the cryptocurrency ecosystem’s continuing evolution. Whether you’re new to crypto or an experienced Rain user, we offer something for everyone,” Joseph Dallago, co-founder of Rain said.

The Pro version of Rain will give users access to historical price data to analyse. Users can also now schedule limit orders in advance, based on the exact price they want. A new orderbook feature “helps users analyse the market with additional transparency through level-2 market data,” a statement from the company said.

Rain Pro charges 0.25 percent of the traded volume on taker orders, and 0 percent of the traded volume on maker orders, according to the company’s website.
