Supermodel Bella Hadid has launched her CY B3LLA NFT collection which features artwork based on 3D scans of her face and body.

In an interview with Reuters, the supermodel stated that she was intrigued with the virtual world environment and wanted to make a “cool versions” of herself after becoming obsessed with video games during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Her collection comprises 11,111 NFTs and they were made in collaboration with the NFT minting platform reBASE.

As per Hadid, inspiration for the CY-B3LLA NFTs came from 10 different countries, with input from local artists.

The NFTs will be revealed anytime between now and September. Each NFT is a passport to a global community and will unlock rewards and access to real events attended by Hadid.

In 2021, German photographer Ellen von Unwerth created a video NFT images for 90s supermodels — Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. They were sold as moving, digitized videos.

In December of 2021 Famous photographer Marco Glauvino debuts his NFT collection called Beauty and the Beast, in partnership with the Pinhole Art digital art gallery. Beauty and the Beast featured images of prominent supermodels, including faces of Cindy Crawford, Paulina Porizkova, Iman Bowie, and Alexis Ren.
