Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 selects 16 new tech start-ups

In the first half of 2022, Hub71 startups raised $436 million from global investors and generated almost $700 million in revenues since the global tech ecosystem launched.

Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 admits 16 new tech start-ups to cohort

Abu Dhabi’s Hub71, tech ecosystem has selected 16 new start-ups to join its newest cohort. These tech start-ups who will be part of the incentive program and ecosystem of active investors, corporate, government and academia partners.

The 16 tech start-ups come from nine countries including the UAE,  USA, Italy, UK, Luxembourg, and range from Fintech start-ups to healthtech, cleantech, edtech, foodtech, and logistics.

One of the projects is Green Future Project, a platform for individuals and businesses to support leading climate projects globally and to track and trace environmental impact. Another one is Amwal, a platform that enables people to pay, send or remit money based on their phone number, and Abhi, a FinTech platform that allows salaried employees to draw upon their wage when needed.

Hub71 has more than 170 tech start-ups in its roster with the cohort pre-seed, seed and Series A rounds raising more than $67 million collectively.

In the first half of 2022, Hub71 Startups raised US$436 million from renowned investors globally and generated almost US$700 million in revenues since the global tech ecosystem launched.Hub71 also created more than 1,000 jobs.
