Ethiopia’s Ministry of Innovation and Technology has announced that five Ethiopian Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies will be participating at GITEX Global 2022.
Africom Technologies, Accelerate Technology Solutions, Network Solutions, Orbit Health Solutions and R&D Group that are engaged in Business Outsourcing will be participating at the event.
The country’s Minister of State for Innovation and Technology, Huria Ali, urged the participating companies to ensure that their presence at the show is not only focused on promoting themselves, but also on shedding the light on Ethiopia’s potential in the sector to others.
She added that in the revised investment promotion regulations business outsourcing is a sector that has been given special attention in the Digital Ethiopia 2025 Strategy.
As per reports, it is expected that the country’s improving electric power supply and the expansion of telecom infrastructure will accelerate the growth of the sector.
