KSA’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a unified government platform called ‘nusuk.sa’ as the new gateway to Makkah and Madinah. It will develop visitors’ experiences and facilitate procedures for their arrival. This is part of the Pilgrim Experience program one of Saudi’s Vision 2030 programs.
“Nusuk.sa” is launched in cooperation and partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority.
Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah,stated “ The’ Nusuk.sa’ platform aims to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims using the latest technologies, and in integration with several government agencies to facilitate procedures, and allow pilgrims and visitors perform their rituals with ease and comfort.
For his part, the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, underlined the importance of “Nusuk.sa” as it comes within the framework of cooperation and integration between the Authority and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah under the umbrella of the Pilgrim Experience Program to serve the pilgrims and the visitors, to realize the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
“Nusuk.sa” will enabled electronic booking and visa permits, in addition to a range of other services that will be provided at a later stage, including interactive maps, a calendar dedicated to offers and activities, a digital guide for all instructions in several languages, and health information. It will also enable service providers to offer their services electronically to pilgrims and visitors.
The “Maqam” platform will continue to operate to allow the design of Umrah service programs until it is ensured that its services are completely transferred to “Nusuk.sa”.
