At GITEX, Barracuda Networks will showcase the breadth of its product portfolio, from email security and web application firewalls to cloud backup and network security. At GITEX, the company intends to inform attendees about how their solutions deliver the advanced functionality they need to defend against modern threats, while keeping usability at their core. Over the last year the company introduced several innovative solutions, and last month they added new capabilities that further strengthen protection against evolving threats.

“As cyberthreats grow in sophistication, and as IT environments become increasingly complex, it is this message of simplicity that we have found resonates strongly with our customers and prospects,” said Toni El Inati – RVP Sales, META & CEE, Barracuda Networks. “GITEX will offer us the opportunity to showcase the latest solutions and provide comprehensive overviews of how they can help regional enterprises achieve their digital ambitions in a safe and secure manner” he added.

Barracuda sees GITEX as a must-attend event which signals their commitment to customers and partners in the region. “We intend to have our top regional executives from across the region fly in to be present and available for engagements with attendees. From a team building and company culture perspective too GITEX proves invaluable.”

“Relationship building is the primary objective of our participation at GITEX. Over the last two years, we have invested in significantly expanding our regional team. However, due to travel restrictions and other logistical challenges, there haven’t been other opportunities for a large number of our regional team to be present in a single location.”

In August this year, KKR, a global investment firm, completed its acquisition of Barracuda from Thoma Bravo. This move has set on track for next phase of growth, and as highlighted by the CEO, Hatem Naguib, Barracuda will continue to invest in its team and product portfolio to provide innovative cybersecurity solutions for customers and partners.

The regional strategy mirrors the corporate mission, and the company continue to invest in technology as well as presence across the region. Today Barracuda has a dedicated presence in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa, Nigeria, and Morocco and earlier this year, began to deliver Cloud-to-Cloud Backup solution to customers in the United Arab Emirates from Microsoft’s local cloud data centres.
