ITP.net Technology Leadership Awards: Personality winners revealed

The winners of personality categories of ITP.net Technology Leadership Awards is revealed.

Chief Information Officers (CIOs) play a pivotal role in enabling the success of digital transformation initiatives. The CIO of the Year award recognises an IT thought leader that exemplifies what it means to deliver business value through the innovative use of technology, creating a competitive advantage within their organisation, enabling growth and improving relationships with customers.

ITP.net also recognised a marketing leader who consistently delivers innovative strategies that had a positive impact on business results and proactively driven the ICT industry forward.

The winners of the personality categories are as follows:

CIO of the Year: Abdalla Al Ali, DMCC Authority

Abdalla Al Ali pioneered the development of a smart and sustainable district. In line with this project, this CIO and his team implemented initiatives and smart solutions that offer seamless and safe daily experiences to over 21,000 business members, and 100,000 residents and visitors. The solutions for the project are set accelerate the sustainability drive and increase safety, reduce health risks, lower pollution and boost social connectedness.

Highly commended CIO of the Year: Gigi Mathew Thomas, Ittihad International Investment

ICT Marketeer of the Year: Mareva Koulamallah, Acronis

Mareva Koulamallah has demonstrated excellence in amplifying the visibility of her organisation here in the region. Driven by passion and leadership, she pioneered initiatives that led to the company’s business growth amid fast-paced environment. Additionally, she demonstrated commitment to championing diversity by making meaningful contributions toward mainstreaming women in the technology industry.
