Sheikh Mohammed: Smart, AI-powered police station sets new benchmarks in Dubai

The Dubai police station is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and has received a 99.8 percent customer satisfaction rating.

A police station has become the first government service centre in Dubai to receive a six-star rating.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, honoured Al Muraqqabat Police Station for the remarkable achievement and unveiled a plaque with the title.

Since its transformation from a traditional police station to a smart centre in 2019, the police station has completed more than 100,000 transactions and currently provides services in seven languages.

It is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and has received a 99.8 percent customer satisfaction rating.

Dubai police station setting new benchmarks

Further commending the station, Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to Twitter to highlight the station is setting the bar high when it comes to law and safety.

“Today, we honoured Al Muraqqabat Police Station, the first service centre to receive a 6-star rating,” he wrote.

“The centre is managed by artificial intelligence. It has completed more than 100 thousand transactions and provided services in seven languages. It achieved a satisfaction rate of 99.8 percent from the public with a response time of only a minute and a half to emergencies.

“This is Dubai, a city that continues to set new benchmarks for itself.”
