Kaspersky appoints Rashed Al Momani as the General Manager for the Middle East

Operations in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will be led by Mohamad Hashem as the newly appointed General Manager for the two countries.

Kaspersky announced the appointment of Rashed Al Momani as the General Manager of Middle East, Egypt, Rwanda, and Pakistan. As the company expands its presence in the region, operations in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will be led by Mohamad Hashem as the newly appointed General Manager for the two countries.

In 2022, Kaspersky witnessed a 3% YoY growth in its B2B portfolio in the Middle East, Turkiye and Africa region. In his new role, Rashed will build on this momentum in the Middle East by driving Kaspersky’s B2B enterprise product portfolio, build stronger and successful partnerships across economic sectors, focus on customer base expansion, and effectively meet the growing business and customer needs.

In addition to leading business operations, Rashed will shoulder the responsibility of building national capabilities and nurturing a skilled, future-ready cybersecurity talent in the countries under his region. He will also work along with Kaspersky customers and partners to amplify efforts to increase the level of cybersecurity awareness.

Rashed joined Kaspersky in 2015 as an Account Manager in Qatar. He has advanced through holding leadership positions within the Sales & Marketing Department, and successfully managed multiple national projects.
