UAE reveals new Golden Visa platform using ‘One Touch’ technology

The “one touch” service is designed to simplify the process of obtaining a Golden Visa for eligible individuals

The UAE has announced a new service, called the ‘One Touch Golden Visa service’, which aims to simplify the process of obtaining a Golden Residency Visa.

Announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Port Security, the new comprehensive service is intended to assist applicants with their visa applications, issuance of other visas, status regularisation, as well as the issuance of residency and identity documents, with the added convenience of renewing all of these in a single step.

The authority made the announcement via their official Instagram channel, and they urged individuals eligible for a Golden Visa to apply through either the UAEICP smart application or the website.

The Golden Visa provides foreign talents with the opportunity to reside, work or study in the UAE, with the added benefits of not requiring a sponsor, being able to stay outside the UAE for more than six months to maintain their residency visa, and the ability to sponsor family members, regardless of their ages.

Furthermore, the minimum monthly salary requirement for the visa has recently been reduced from Dh50,000 to Dh30,000, expanding eligibility to many more skilled professionals in fields such as medicine, sciences, engineering, information technology, business administration, education, law, culture and social sciences.
