Gault&Millau UAE Gala Award 2023: Winners announced

Best restaurants and UAE dining recognised at the 2023 Gault&Millau Gala Awards

The best in UAE dining was honoured at the Gault&Millau Gala Awards at a ceremony at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai on Thursday, April 27.

Dubai’s emerging reputation as a gourmet capital of the world was celebrated at the event, with categories such as best chef, best homegrown restaurant and sustainable kitchen of the year.

The event unveiled the ratings of the 134 restaurants featured in the 2023 dining guide.

Gault&Millau awards

The winners of the awards were revealed at the ceremony.

Over a period of nine months, Gault&Millau’s anonymous reviewers have been testing food from various restaurants in the UAE to evaluate and rank the best ones.

The extensive process covered more than 200 restaurants, including those featured in the 2022 Guide, previously unsuccessful ones, and newly opened establishments.

  • Champagne Offering of the Year: CLAP, DIFC
  • Non-alcoholic Drinks Offering of the Year: Avatara, voco Dubai
