Astra Tech, a consumer technology holding group in Middle East and North Africa, has announced the launch of Botim 3.0.
According to the company, the new features offered by Botim 3.0 makes it the world’s first ‘Ultra app.’
The app aims to be an all-inclusive digital platform for its users by incorporating fintech, e-commerce, GPT, and communication into a single user experience.
With Botim 3.0, users can access services such as Botim Money, Botim Stores, and advanced video services like tutoring and telemedicine. The app is available worldwide, providing seamless access to communication and transactions with the MENA region.
Unlike super apps, the Ultra platform is built on top of a frequently used case, communication. This means users don’t need to learn new behaviours to adapt to the platform, making adoption rates very high.
Abdallah Abu Sheikh, Co-Founder and CEO, Astra Tech, Botim’s parent company, said, “The app space has become overcrowded over the past few years, with many platforms that are now causing a serious case of app noise and fatigue to users.
“We believe that a chat-based approach to offer all our services, on top of BOTIM, will provide users of all backgrounds and demographics with a single access point to the services they need, making our services inclusive and scalable.”
Botim has already launched its first fintech service, the world’s first in-chat international money transfer, with great success in the UAE, India, and the Philippines. Now, the company is expanding its financial services to offer a fully integrated wallet that includes peer-to-peer payments and personal financial solutions.
The platform is also introducing the world’s first executional Arabic GPT, which will enable users to execute a wide range of tasks within the Botim ecosystem easily. With a global user base of over 150 million, Botim is revolutionising how people access and use digital services.
