Ras Al-Khaimah Police has unveiled a cutting-edge drone platform for aerial photography in line with the Ministry of Interior’s directives to stay ahead of technical and technological advancements.
The new device was inaugurated by Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al-Naeimi, the Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al-Khaimah Police, in the presence of senior officers.
Al-Naaimi highlighted that the platform’s launch is a testament to the leadership’s constant efforts to procure and deploy modern equipment and tools that aid in enhancing the Emirates’ security and safety.
He also emphasised that the platform is aimed at advancing the quality of police and security operations, ultimately leading to success and excellence.
The drone is designed for easy transportation and comes equipped with a wide-angle camera, an integrated meteorological station, and a GPS device for precise location tracking. Furthermore, it is equipped with waterproof, humidity, vibration, and temperature sensors to ensure optimal performance even in challenging environments.
According to RAK police, the unveiling of the launch of the drone underscores the leadership’s commitment to keeping pace with modern technologies, which is reflected in its constant efforts to develop equipment and tools to achieve the strategic goals of the Ministry of Interior and the police and security services in the emirate.
