Samsung Gulf Electronics has announced the local availability of the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S9 Series, and Galaxy Watch 6 Series in the UAE. This follows their global debut at Unpacked in Seoul, South Korea last month.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series introduces significant changes to the tablet landscape, offering enhanced viewing and creative possibilities. Across three models—Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra—the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display provides captivating visual experiences, complemented by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. The package includes an IP68-rated S Pen, enabling easy expression. As the first in the Galaxy Tab S series with an IP68 rating, the Galaxy Tab S9 series supports creative exploration indoors and outdoors.
The Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic aim to assist users in cultivating healthier routines throughout the day and night. The Galaxy Watch6 series offers comprehensive health features and strong performance in an elegant design. Notable improvements include a slimmer bezel, an enlarged and livelier display, and an enhanced user interface. Commitment to sustainability: Galaxy for the planet
In line with the launch, Samsung highlighted its collaboration with Emirates Nature-WWF, which demonstrates its commitment to sustainability, with a portion of Galaxy device proceeds contributing to local conservation efforts in the UAE.
In collaboration with e&, Samsung Gulf will contribute a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the latest Galaxy devices on Samsung.com and Etisalat channels to Emirates Nature-WWF on behalf of its customers. These funds will support Emirates Nature-WWF’s local conservation endeavours in the UAE.
Notable partnerships
Samsung users can now unlock enhanced features within the Galaxy experience using Samsung Wallet. This versatile application functions as an all-in-one, convenient e-wallet for essential items like payment cards, offering extensive coverage among regional banks, including up to 96 percent coverage within the UAE. Additionally, customers now have the ability to accumulate Samsung Reward points with each purchase conducted via Samsung Wallet. These points hold value as they can be redeemed on Samsung.com.
Recent enhancements to Samsung Wallet include the incorporation of boarding passes, providing added convenience for travelers, including those flying with Emirates. Furthermore, Samsung has initiated a partnership with Dr. Nasr Al Jafari, Medical Director of DNA Health & Wellness, focusing specifically on the Galaxy Watch6. Dr. Al Jafari’s involvement aims to educate consumers on utilising the smartwatch to monitor three critical aspects of modern health: heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG readings.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 512GB is priced at Dh6,799 or Dh283 per month, accompanied by a 2-year Samsung Care+ plan and the potential to earn up to 10X Samsung Rewards points, among other benefits. Opting for the 1TB variant will incur a cost of Dh8,149 or Dh340 per month, accompanied by a complimentary Premium Edition Pack and the opportunity to earn 10X Samsung Rewards points. Color options include icy blue, phantom black, and cream.
For consumers who pre-order, the Galaxy Z Flip5 512GB is available at the price of the 256GB variant, resulting in a saving of Dh450. This model comes in four color choices: mint, graphite, lavender, and cream.
UAE shoppers who pre-order the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra 1TB will receive the device at the price of the 512GB version.
Customers pre-ordering the Galaxy Tab S9 1TB can benefit from a Dh1,100 discount, bringing the price down to Dh5,499 or Dh229 per month. It’s important to note that specific terms and conditions apply to this offer.
