Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, officially inaugurated GITEX GLOBAL. The event took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on October 16, 2023, and was attended by a host of dignitaries and tech industry leaders.

Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy of Dubai, setting the stage for a week filled with groundbreaking innovations and global tech collaborations. The event, which runs until October 20, 2023, has once again reached full capacity at DWTC, hosting an impressive 180,000 tech executives from 180 countries. In his tour of the exhibition, Sheikh Mohammed explored various stands, including those of major tech players like Etisalat, Huawei, Beyon, Salesforce, G42, Microsoft, and IBM.
