Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is set to take part in the 41st edition of GITEX Technology Week, taking place on 17th to 21st October 2021.

DEWA has become one of the most innovative utilities in the world. The organisation launched Digital DEWA as its digital arm, making it the first digital utility to use autonomous systems for renewable energy, storage, expansion in AI adoption, and providing digital services.

Last year, showcased a range of pioneering projects that aim to reshape the future of services and the experiences of stakeholders.

At last year’s show, DEWA also debuted the Universal Service Centre concept, a pioneering step in transforming the future of services. It provides a full digital experience that provides comprehensive, reliable and secure services to customers. The centre uses the latest AI technologies and interactive digital solutions that will enable customers to communicate remotely with representatives from departments such as Finance, Human Resources, Contracts, Procurement, and Legal Affairs.

GITEX is the biggest tech event in the Middle East and Africa region. Every year, the event hosts more than 4,500 exhibitors, 400+ active investors and 150,000 trade visitors from 140 countries.
