Ingram Micro expanded its business relationship with wireless connectivity systems company Cambium Networks.

As per the agreement, Ingram Micro is now authorised to sell and promote Cambium Network’s variety of wireless connectivity solutions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Yemen and Pakistan.

Cambium Networks delivers wireless communication solutions that work for businesses, communities and cities worldwide. More than 10 million radios are shipped globally to connect people, places and things with a unified wireless fabric that spans multiple standards and frequencies of fixed wireless and WiFi, all managed centrally via the cloud.

Cambium’s multi-gigabit wireless fabric offers a compelling value proposition over traditional fiber and alternative wireless solutions.

Dr Ali Baghdadi, Senior Vice-President & Chief Executive, Ingram Micro, said: “We are pleased to start the distribution of Cambium Networks’ platforms. Its network solutions align with our current wireless communications portfolio and deliver more comprehensive connectivity solutions. The ongoing support and expertise Cambium Networks provides to its partners are also extremely valuable, and we look forward to helping to connect currently unconnected enterprises of all size and verticals across the region.”

Martín de la Serna, Cambium Networks’ Regional Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, added: “Ingram Micro brings a formidable partner network and enterprise networking footprint in the region. Its strong presence locally in the GCC markets, coupled with Cambium’s disruptive enterprise offerings and existing wireless deployments in these markets, will make for a successful alliance.”

With its head offices in Dubai and offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Oman, Turkey, Morocco and Pakistan, Ingram Micro helps businesses realise the ‘Promise of Technology’. It delivers a full spectrum of global technology and supply chain services to businesses around the world.
