Prompted by a rise in the number of locations it has across Saudi, the bank decided that it was time to replace its legacy communications system with branch solutions from Avaya. Western Electric, an integration part of Avaya in The Kingdom, has currently carried out the installation at 90 branches, including the bank’s headquarters in Riyadh. The remaining 112 branches are still in the process of having the unified communications technology implemented.

“The Avaya IP solution enables us to deliver superior service by providing practical options such as conferencing, messaging, and up-to-date information on the bank’s latest services and offers to our customers,” confirmed Fahad Al-Rowaite’e, administration and services manager at Riyadh Bank.

Al-Rowaite’e says that despite being less than halfway through the overall implementation, the communications solution from Avaya has had the effect of boosting the quality of care that the bank is able to offer its customers.

“At a time when customer service expectations are on the rise, efficiency is as key to survival as reducing costs, and the advanced IP solutions deliver the capabilities that make this possible,” he added.

Avaya’s country manager for the Saudi Arabia, Fadi Hani agrees that financial institutions are facing immense strain to maintain efficiency and meet demanding customer care standards while cutting costs.

“Avaya IP Office will deliver robust unified communications to the bank and its customers while scaling with the bank’s growth,” underlined Hani.
