Security software maker Sophos, has revealed that it will host the inaugural channel event with regional value-added distributor (VAD) Computerlinks.
The event, scheduled for 5th March, 2013, at the Address Dubai Mall Hotel, will see senior executives from Sophos and Computerlinks give channel partners an overview of the latest trends in security solutions and demonstrate how the two companies are working together in securing businesses in the region.
André Scheffknecht, vice president NEEMEA at Sophos, said: “Having recently signed a distribution agreement with Computerlinks, we are pleased to be able to introduce our new partnership to our regional channel here in the UAE. This event is the ideal opportunity to meet Computerlinks’ channel partners and give them an overview of Sophos, an outline of our security solutions portfolio and introduce them to our exciting partner programmes.”

Computerlinks and Sophos are working together to help increase market awareness in the Middle East region and provide comprehensive support to customers. According to Sopho, Computerlinks will offer its range of security solutions to assist partners in addressing their customers’ needs to unlock business efficiency and manage risk.
