Smartphone brand Realme released its new Realme 8 5G. The phone comes with Dimensity 700 5G Processor, which helps it get excellent 5G performance and yet be in a very attractive price segment.
Realme 8 5G comes in an 8.5mm super slim design, making it the thinnest 5G smartphone in the market. Even though the phone is light at 185g, it delivers a comfortable experience with every grip. It has a 90Hz display and a 5000mAh battery, making it more powerful than ever before.
The Dimensity 700 5G Processor in Realme 8 5G is a leading new-generation 5G processor and mixes two highly capable Arm Cortex-A76 ‘Big’ cores in its octa-core CPU. It operates up to 2.2GHz, as it benefits from a leading 7nm production process. It brings a powerful GPU – Arm Mali-G57 MC2 with 950MHz clock speed, while also supporting 90Hz high refresh rate screen technology. The fast refresh displays cut out blur in animations, scrolling and games to provide a better user experience.
The phone also features a classic triple card slot feature, thus removing the hassle of choosing between Dual SIM or expanding storage. With a large F1.8 aperture and a multi-frame synthesis algorithm, the nightscape mode performance is also excellent, especially with five nightscape filters. The portrait photography abilities are enhanced through AI beauty and portrait mode. The front 16MP camera is equipped with a large f/2.1 aperture.
The 5000mAh power battery in Realme 8 5G supports high daily use, ending the frequent charging trouble despite the higher power consumption for 5G use.
As 5G consumes more power than the traditional 4G, it may shorten the phone’s battery life. The phone intelligently switches between 4G and 5G depending on the usage scenario to save battery, thus utilising almost 30% lower power.
The Realme 8 5G Smartphone is officially available in UAE now, with retail price starting from AED 899.
