The E-Commerce Ecosystem, the newest offering from Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), intends to advance the development of the e-commerce industry throughout the MENA region.

The region’s e-commerce market is currently worth $32 billion and is anticipated to grow to $50 billion by 2025. Small and medium e-commerce businesses will be able to conduct business in a convenient setting with simple access to workspaces, order fulfillment services, and delivery alternatives.

The vast variety of activities within the industry that are covered by DMCC’s e-commerce business licenses include trading, payment services, delivery services, and associated consultancy services.

The new ecosystem is being launched in partnership with self-storage provider, The Box. An accelerator program will be made available by The Box and DMCC to help e-commerce startups and SMEs.

One-on-one mentoring sessions, custom courses, and access to special networking opportunities with DMCC’s community of over 22,000 firms are all included in the Box DMCC Accelerator Program. It will also offer discounted pricing for storage and DMCC license.

Separate from the accelerator programme, Dubai companies interested in joining the DMCC E-Commerce Ecosystem can choose from three packages: Basic, Starter and Premium+.

By purchasing one of these bundles, e-commerce companies can save up to 50% on DMCC business licenses, co-working desks, private offices, and storage options from The Box.
