Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has appointed Saeed Al Gergawi as Vice President to guide the chamber towards achieving its goals, which include building the best digital infrastructure in the world for the emirate.

As part one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is aimed at transforming the emirate into an international technology hub, supporting the interests of technology companies, and strengthening the role of the digital economy in the emirate.

The importance of young national cadres in fulfilling development objectives has been emphasised by Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

Al Olama believes that the development of the digital economy in Dubai requires empowering young and talented individuals with the necessary qualifications and experiences to solve future challenges, utilising cutting-edge tools and approaches, and enhancing the competitiveness of sectors that prioritize innovation and technology. This will contribute to the UAE and Dubai’s aspirations to establish themselves as leaders in the global digital economy and benefit society as a whole.

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy strives to support the growth of Dubai’s digital economy by creating a conducive environment for digital companies to thrive, promoting creativity, and accessing new business opportunities. It works to establish a global framework to build the economy of the future and provide world-class digital infrastructure to support the dynamic start-up ecosystem, creating new opportunities for investors.
