Customers in several countries, including China, Japan, and the United States, may experience delays until November when purchasing Apple’s new iPhone 15 Pro Max. This suggests robust demand for the product as pre-orders began on Friday. These delays are likely to alleviate concerns about demand for Apple’s flagship device, which faced declining iPhone sales in the previous quarter due to a slowdown in the global smartphone market.

In China, the wait for the Pro Max is four to five weeks, which may ease concerns about Apple’s third-largest market’s financial performance amid increasing competition from Huawei and restrictions on iPhone use by government personnel. However, the iPhone 15 Pro has a shorter wait of two to three weeks in China.

In the United States, customers will need to wait six to seven weeks for the Pro Max, while in Japan, it’s five to six weeks. The Pro model, though, has a shorter wait of two to three weeks for the 128-gigabyte version in both the U.S. and Japan.

Analysts suggest that these extended wait times may be due to initial supply constraints for the Pro Max, primarily related to securing supplies of the model’s displays, which have thinner bezels than previous iPhones. These supply issues have reportedly been resolved.
