GSD appoints James Harb as General Manager

Gulf Software Distribution has appointed James Harb as the company’s new General Manager to oversee expansion, revenue and channel strategy.

Gulf Software Distribution (GSD), a leading value added distributor across the Gulf Region, has appointed James Harb as the company’s new General Manager.

Harb will oversee the company’s market expansion, revenue and channel strategy. Harb’s extensive background in overseeing and driving innovation and positive change and his ability to foster relationships and create synergy with regional customers will support the company’s growth across the Gulf markets.

Industry veteran

Harb brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience to GSM. He is well-versed in leading and managing organisational strategies, business transformation, and building partnerships and alliances. Harb has a proven track record of working in highly competitive local and international markets and driving product expansion, increasing revenues and improving profits.

Harb previously led Blue Tech Gulf’s sales and operation in the the Gulf Region. He also has extensive work experience at IBM Middle East, spending almost two decades across multiple leadership positions and was responsible for driving revenues and building the partner ecosystem.
