New app launches in UAE that lets you rent anything

The app lets users rent anything ranging from everyday items to luxury collections

Yjoz is now live in UAE, providing a digital platform for sustainable rentals ranging from everyday items to luxury collections. Developed by Yousif Bin Saeed Lootah Group, Yjoz aims to transform consumption habits and perceptions of renting by offering a user-friendly, eco-friendly platform for sharing and renting goods.

By encouraging the efficient use of natural resources and reducing waste, Yjoz aims to reshape the value chain by prolonging the life of products through reselling used items. The app allows users to not only access products affordably without purchasing them but also offers an opportunity to earn money by renting out their own items.

The platform features a growing list of items across various categories, including tools, home appliances, fashion, jewelry, sports, and leisure items. According to Yousif Bin Saeed Lootah, Yjoz’s CEO, the app is an innovative solution addressing environmental challenges, such as excessive exploitation of resources and unsustainable consumer goods production.

He highlighted that traditional recycling can be energy-intensive and may require the use of new materials, which doesn’t fully tackle the issue of overconsumption. In contrast, Yjoz promotes a greener future by encouraging renting and reusing, thus reducing the need for new product manufacturing and its associated energy consumption and emissions.

Yjoz aims to empower everyone to contribute to a greener future and emphasises that sustainability is not just an option but a responsibility towards the planet and future generations. By adopting Yjoz, users can actively participate in the circular economy and support the UAE’s efforts in combatting climate change and environmental protection.
