Pure Storage to revolutionise data centre efficiency at GITEX Global 2023

At GITEX Global 2023, Pure Storage will present new solutions that allow customers to migrate all workloads to all-flash solutions

At GITEX Global 2023, Pure Storage will present new solutions that allow customers to migrate all workloads to all-flash solutions and get rid of the last bits of legacy architecture and spinning disk in their data centres. The management of legacy storage systems is difficult, they consume a lot of power and cooling, take up a lot of space, and their components fail too frequently, disrupting operations and putting sensitive data at risk. As a result, legacy storage systems are a drain on IT teams and budgets in businesses. By switching to all-flash, customers can free up their teams to focus on more strategic responsibilities, and Pure will highlight this.

New announcements from this year

  • FlashArray//E, the latest addition to Pure Storage’s flagship FlashArray family of products, delivers the simplicity and efficiency of flash for all file and block data repositories, from content libraries to backup sets to active archives.
  • New models of FlashArray//X and FlashArray//C which deliver up to 40% higher performance, 30% more inline compression to stretch storage capacity, and new ransomware protection capabilities delivered entirely via non-disruptive upgrade.
  • FlashBlade//E, a scale-out unstructured data repository built to handle exponential data growth with industry-leading energy efficiency.

Pure will also be showcasing its recently announced partnership with Microsoft of Pure Cloud Block Store for Azure VMware Solution. This supports customers with a consistent storage management layer and the ability to scale compute and storage independently to match data growth.

“This year, to complement the product showcase, Pure Storage will also record a series of podcasts from a studio on the company’s stand. With an impressive guest lineup of Pure customers and technology alliance and channel partners, the series will feature segments that touch on a host of industry hot topics and customer needs in the Middle East,” said Omar Akar, Regional VP, Middle East & Emerging Africa at Pure Storage.
