Saudi agtech RedSea expands board of directors to accelerate growth

Industry veterans Larkin Martin and Steve Dauphin join RedSea’s board of directors, the announcement underscores the agtech’s growth and ambition

Saudi-based sustainable AgTech company RedSea has expanded its Board of Directors with two notable appointments Larkin Martin and Steve Dauphin.

An accomplished agriculturalist with extensive experience and has held esteemed positions, Larkin Martin is a seventh-generation farmer who manages Martin Farm in Alabama and serves as Vice President of The Albemarle Corporation, which are both family businesses with interests in agriculture and timberland.

Additionally, she holds Directorial positions at the Soil Health Institute, NYSE-listed Rayonier Inc., and Truxton Trust – a private bank, and is Chairman of Servico, a cotton ginning and agricultural services business. Furthermore, she has served as past Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and of The Cotton Board.

“I am very excited to join the Board of RedSea. Its new, innovative technologies are set to transform the sector and positively impact food production globally. I am excited to provide my support and advice to the company,” said Larkin.

Meanwhile, Steve Dauphin is a Founding Partner of Bonaventure Capital and has over 25 years of experience in venture capital investment. For the past decade, he and his team at Bonaventure have been supporting values-driven teams on their missions to tackle historically unsolvable problems. The firm has invested in several countries, including the US, Mexico, Canada, Central America, Peru, Kenya, Sweden, Spain, the UAE, and the Caribbean.
