Shorooq Partners invests $5 M in Roamless, its first Turkish investment

Roamless, a travel connectivity platform, raised $5 million led by Shorooq Partners, marking their first venture into Türkiye’s tech ecosystem. This funding will accelerate Roamless’s mission to provide seamless eSIM connectivity for travelers worldwide.

Roamless, a travel connectivity platform known for its eSIM technology and pay-as-you-go model, has raised a $5 million investment led by Shorooq Partners, a leading investment firm in the Middle East and North Africa. Paribu Ventures, Deba Ventures, Revo Capital, and Finberg participated in the round, Shorooq Partners’ first venture into Türkiye’s tech ecosystem.

Emre Demirel, co-founder and CEO of Roamless, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “We are grateful for the support of Shorooq Partners and our other investors. This investment will help us accelerate our mission of leading a digital transformation in the telecom industry, providing seamless connectivity for travellers worldwide.”

Roamless provides travellers greater flexibility and accessibility, unlike traditional eSIM solutions with high roaming charges and expiring plans. Since its public beta launch in October 2023, Roamless has gained nearly 100,000 users by offering uninterrupted internet and international calling in 150 countries.
