Over the past few years, the importance of cybersecurity is said time and again and still not mentioned enough. According to reports, the global annual cost of cybercrime is predicted to reach $8 trillion in 2023. Compounding this is the rising cost of damages resulting from cybercrime, which is expected to reach $10.5 trillion by 2025.

The key to creating awareness, driving progress and encouraging innovation on the importance of cybersecurity is to recognise the leaders and innovators. These companies and individuals are at the forefront of developing new and creative solutions to combat ever-evolving cyber threats.

By acknowledging and supporting their work, ITP.net aims to inspire more individuals and organisations to pursue innovative ideas and contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions that can help protect against cyber attacks.
ITP.net Security Leadership Awards will celebrate the best security minds who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and innovative approaches in securing today’s digital enterprises. The gala award ceremony will be held at the Le Royal Meridien Hotel on the 15th of March 2023.

With the inaugural edition receiving over 100 nominations, the industry proved the need to celebrate the excellence and leadership in cybersecurity. The 54 shortlists in the 14 categories are as below:
