stc Bahrain has achieved another technology breakthrough with the successful demonstration of 5G Voice over New Radio (VoNR). The first telecom operator in the Kingdom to advance its 5G capabilities with technology partner, Huawei, is a testament to the high capabilities of stc Bahrain network to support 5G Standalone (SA) architectures and offer its subscribers a high-definition voice experience over 5G.
stc Bahrain’s standalone 5G network ensures its 5G users superior experience can connect to the 5G network seamlessly, with incredibly fast speeds, and real-time responsiveness for both voice and data services.
Ahmed Alsharif, Chief Technology and Digital Officer at stc Bahrain, commented: “The 5G standalone network and 5G VoNR are a key enabler of next-generation immersive applications that combine 5G speeds and high-definition audio.
