Twitter offers ad revenue to content creators

This move aims to attract more content creators to the social media site

In an announcement, Twitter unveiled a new initiative that will enable select content creators to receive a portion of the advertising revenue generated on the platform. This move aims to attract more content creators to the social media site.

Twitter specified that eligible creators must be verified users with a minimum of 5 million impressions on their posts each month for the past three months, and they must also possess a Stripe payment account.

The revenue share will be derived from ads displayed within the replies of these content creators. Earlier this year, Twitter introduced the option for users to offer paid subscriptions to their content, further demonstrating the platform’s commitment to supporting creators.
