Asiacell has selected Ericsson services and solutions to expand its network coverage and enhance the end-user experience in Iraq. The agreement was signed at a dedicated technology event by Ericsson and Asiacell at the Grand Millennium Hotel, Slemani, Iraq – showcasing innovative demos that are pushing the limits of mobile network technology, particularly in the fields of AI, 5G and cloud.
The agreement presents a continuation of a long-term partnership to enhance Asiacell’s network performance across the country and builds on previous success in network performance in western Iraq provinces which resulted in improved network coverage and end-user experience while solidifying customer loyalty.

Ericsson will also offer round-the-clock network monitoring, problem restoration and performance enhancement services.
