Apple’s Vision Pro, one of the most expensive of Apple’s products since the iPhone, is already creating a buzz, will it usher in a new era of spatial computing?

At a premium price of a whopping $3499, the Apple Vision Pro is here clearly to set a trend. This device not only represents Apple’s foray into the headset market but also signifies its debut in the realm of spatial computing, marking a significant shift in the tech landscape. 

Spatial computing refers to the fusion of virtual objects with real space through AI, extended reality (XR), and IoT, which promises transformative applications across industries. 

A Paradigm Shift in Technology 

The Apple Vision Pro stands as Apple’s most expensive product since the iconic iPhone launch over a decade ago. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, describes it as an ‘aha’ moment, reflecting the culmination of years of innovation and anticipation.

Meta, in collaboration with Ray-Ban, introduced smart glasses capable of voice control and multifunctionality, while Humane, a startup founded by Apple executives, launched the interactive brooch, Pin.
