Though this task force was launched earlier this year, prior to the Hollywood writers’ strike, it has come to light recently amidst the issue.

This internal task force is not only focused on internal AI application development but also seeks collaborative partnerships with innovative startups, according to sources.

Illustrating its commitment to this endeavour, Disney currently has 11 active job positions tailored to candidates proficient in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

These employment opportunities span various facets of the company, encompassing Walt Disney Studios, the theme parks division, the engineering group (Walt Disney Imagineering), Disney-branded television, and the advertising team. The latter is actively pursuing the creation of a cutting-edge AI-powered advertising system, as outlined in the job descriptions.
