Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of The Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF)

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, has announced the launch of a platform named “04” that aims to foster collaboration between the government and its customers, in order to improve the quality of government services.

This platform provides an omnichannel experience for customers to easily submit feedback, suggestions, and complaints in just three simple steps.

“We have learned invaluable lessons from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that being proactive is the key to the government of the future. To become a proactive government, we must actively listen to the people and make informed decisions based on their input,” said Sheikh Hamdan.

According to Sheikh Hamdan, the “04 Platform” seeks to narrow the divide between the government and its customers. He then emphasised that Dubai’s vision for upcoming governments is built upon a robust bond between the leadership and customers, whom it regards as valuable collaborators in shaping, executing, and assessing services.

The platform will allow officials and stakeholders to directly receive and respond to customers’ opinions, suggestions, and ideas, as well as any challenges they may face.

“We have great confidence in the government work team, and I urge everyone to consistently engage with customers to meet their aspirations and exceed their expectations. Our ultimate goal is to promote the happiness of society and reinforce Dubai’s position as a world leader in government. We must have the courage to implement necessary changes in our relentless pursuit of excellence, paving the way for a better tomorrow,” said Sheikh Hamdan.

The release of the “04 Platform” is in line with Dubai’s ‘360 Services’ strategy, which prioritises customers’ involvement in the development of government services and provides them with a unified channel to express their views, suggest ideas, and report any issues or grievances.

The “04 Platform” was created through the collaboration of over 40 government entities and other organisations, led by the Dubai Model Centre of the General Secretariat of The Executive Council and the Dubai Digital Authority. This pioneering customer interface is designed to cater to the needs of all individuals, including citizens, residents, and even tourists.
