UAE-based luxury travel firm Gayo Aviation takes off with crypto payments via Hayvn Pay

The collaboration will see Hayvn Pay facilitate secure and compliant cryptocurrency payments for Gayo Aviation’s diverse services

Global luxury travel company Gayo Aviation is now offering crypto payments via Hayvn Pay, a UAE-based regulated digital asset-focused financial firm.

Gayo Aviation offers aircraft management, consulting services, aircraft purchase and sales and flight deck services. The collaboration will see Hayvn Pay facilitate secure and compliant crypto payments for Gayo Aviation’s diverse services, ranging from aircraft management to consulting and flight deck services. By integrating Hayvn Pay’s payment ecosystem, Gayo Aviation establishes itself as an early adopter of crypto payment solutions within the luxury digital asset landscape.

Christopher Flinos, CEO, Hayvn, notes the increasing interest in crypto payments across luxury sectors like gold, jewelry, and real estate. “Hayvn Pay aims to bring cryptocurrency payment solutions to 75 percent of the world’s merchants by 2024. Cryptocurrency accounts for 20 percent of total luxury sales in 2023. I welcome Gayo Aviation to the Hayvn Pay ecosystem and look forward to providing its customers with a safe, seamless cryptocurrency payment option,” he said.

Hayvn Pay, a component of Hayvn, operates under regulatory oversight in various jurisdictions, including Australia, Lithuania, Abu Dhabi, the Cayman Islands, and the British Virgin Islands. The company’s mission is to encourage the adoption of cryptocurrency payments by offering accessible and trusted solutions.

Ravi Dueland, Business Development Director, Gayo Aviation, expresses pride in providing customers with diverse payment options through Hayvn Pay. “In today’s evolving new economy it’s important to provide your customers with multiple options to enable payments. We have noticed an increase in the demand for payments using digital assets and are delighted to be able to offer this to our clients through this partnership. We look forward to continuing enhancing our customers’ experiences through innovation.”

The private aviation industry, valued at over $31 billion, is witnessing a rising trend of cryptocurrency adoption. A substantial portion of bookings within private aviation companies are being paid in crypto, aligning with broader trends in crypto adoption. Switzerland and UAE stand out as hubs for cryptocurrency adoption in Europe and the Middle East, respectively.

In the UAE, Dubai has set its sights on becoming a global crypto hub with approximately 27.67 percent of its 9.5 million residents possessing various forms of cryptocurrency. This surge in adoption is propelled by factors such as expedited transaction processing, decreased costs, heightened security measures, and the enthusiasm of affluent crypto-oriented clients, notably millennials, who represent a significant segment of the clientele.

The partnership between Gayo Aviation and Hayvn Pay underscores the evolving landscape of luxury payments, positioning Gayo Aviation at the forefront of this transformative trend. As the crypto industry continues to grow, such collaborations pave the way for a more seamless and secure financial future.
