Dr. Amir Alsbih is an Associate Director at global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Based in Berlin, he leads the DevSecOps and Table Top Exercise offering and helps support BCG clients in digitalisation, cloud, and cybersecurity.
Furthermore, as a tech and cyber enthusiast, Dr Alsbih is a core player in BCG’s Technology Advantage and an integral part of the firm’s cybersecurity leadership team.
Dr Alsbih will join an exclusive webinar titled, ‘Beyond the Perimeter: Securing Fragmented Environments with Zero Trust.’
Organised by ITP.net, together with Cloudflare, the webinar will air on 23rd March 2021 at 12:00PM (GST) and will delve into how implementing a Zero Trust framework can bolster network security strategies and enable cyber resilience.
The virtual event will feature regional thought leaders who will share their expertise on how enterprises today can build a robust Zero Trust strategy that will future-proof their network and security strategies.
Prior to joining BCG, he worked as a CEO and CTO for a cybersecurity startup, served as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Internal Audit of a large SaaS provider, and built up a german telco’s technical security capabilities. Dr. Alsbih also taught at the University of Freiburg in applied cybersecurity and digital forensics and gave lectures for law enforcement agencies in Germany in applied cybersecurity.
His education highlights include a Doctor of Engineering in computer science and a University Graduate Degree, by research with thesis (Diplom). He has spoken at multiple international conferences, conducted several workshops regularly, and has published several times in various magazines.
