As part of ITP.net’s ‘Cashing-in on Digitalisation in Banking’ event, the ‘Doubling down on digital’ roundtable is set to air on 9th February. It will explore the evolution of the regional banking industry and determine where it is heading in the next few years.
Elshimy, an Industry 4.0 and digital transformation expert, will take part in a high-level panel comprised of banking, finance and technology leaders. He will share insights into how today’s advanced technologies are reshaping the banking and financial industries and how ICT firms such as Huawei are contributing to the transformation of these sectors.
With more than two decades of experience in the technology industry, Elshimy is currently leading Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group where he is responsible for driving the company’s continued growth in the Middle East.
Huawei is no stranger when it comes to digital banking innovations. Over the years, Huawei has rolled out a number of products and services that are tailored for the banking industry including virtual banking, insurance cloudification, and blockchain-based credit investigation solutions.
Among the key offerings of the Chinese tech giant is the OceanStor Dorado family of AI-powered all-flash arrays, which are designed for mission critical systems such as those being leveraged by banks.
