The FTTH Council Global Alliance (FCGA) is the platform for cooperation of the five global FTTH Councils. Dubai hosted the FTTH Council MENA.

The event offered different conferences and round tables about FTTH.

H.E. Majed Al Mesmar, deputy director general for UAE TRA, was part of the opening ceremony.
