Sophos is leveragings  the GITEX platform to demonstrate how its cloud security and EDR solutions help organisations battle the emerging threat landscape. Visitors to the stand can hear about Sophos’ endpoint and network security solutions
that are powered by deep learning and synchronised security.

Sophos has been at GITEX for more than 10 years and has brought its latest cyber security innovations to the tech event. This year, the vendor has brought its Cloud Optix, Intercept X with EDR, Intercept X for Server with EDR and Sophos’ latest release of XG Firewall with lateral movement protection.

“GITEX offers us a great opportunity to demonstrate
why every organisation needs security that is innovative, integrated and scalable, and how next-gen cyber security protection from Sophos proactively protects against sophisticated threats. It is also an ideal platform for us to meet partners and develop new partnerships that will strengthen the Middle East channel,” Harish Chib,

vice president, Middle East & Africa.

“Endpoint Detection and Response has swiftly become a must-have technology, which makes sense, as EDR helps to reduce the time spent investigating security incidents and increases visibility into the threat chain. Interestingly, EDR has become a tool for all, and we see almost equal demand from both smaller and larger organisations,” Chib concluded.
