Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will showcase a range of its most prominent and proactive digital initiatives that are based on the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)s, energy storage, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics and others during GITEX 2022.

The exhibition also provides an ideal opportunity to expand DEWA’s partnerships and meet with experts and specialists, solution providers, investors, government decision-makers, and potential business partners in various areas of the Fourth Industrial Revolution from around the world. This supports our continuous efforts to enhance Dubai’s leadership as a global model in adopting future technologies and helps us achieve the Dubai 10X initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make the Government of Dubai 10 years ahead of other cities, as well as the UAE Centennial 2071 to make the UAE the world’s leading nation by its Centennial in 2071,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
DEWA has completed the digital integration of more than 70 projects with government and private sector.
Smart adoption of DEWA’s services reached 98.99 percent until the end of the second quarter of 2022.
DEWA provides all its services through its website and smart application, in addition to many digital channels that help customers complete their transactions, anytime anywhere to save their time and efforts.
Through Digital DEWA, the digital arm of DEWA, the entity will become the first digital institution in the world, with autonomous systems for energy storage, while expanding the use of AI and digital services.
DEWA will also present the projects of Digital DEWA, and the projects of its subsidiaries under the Dubai 10X initiative, such as the Data Hub Integrated Solutions (Moro) the green data centre, Moro cloud services, and cyber security services.
In addition, DEWA will have a place for Digital X projects like the Innovation Centre smart application project and InfraX projects in collaboration with its strategic partners, most notably the 5G chip solutions that adopt the latest advanced computing technologies in the utility sector, the Internet of Things (IoT) and its uses.
