Five cybersecurity companies you should check out at GITEX

This year with many more companies participating, here are five cybersecurity companies you should not miss out at GITEX Global 2022.

Cybersecurity

Over the last few years, the importance of cybersecurity has increased. It is evident in the industry with more CISO roles opening up (instead of CIOs handling cybersecurity as well) and more budget for security being signed off. When CEOs and CISOs are constantly checking if they are the next big target for a cyberattack, there is increased importance given to the cybersecurity pavilion at GITEX.

This year with many more companies participating, here are five cybersecurity companies you should not miss out at GITEX Global 2022.

BARRACUDA NETWORKS

Barracuda Networks will showcase the breadth of their product portfolio, from email security and web application firewalls to cloud backup and network security. At GITEX, the company intends to inform attendees about how their solutions deliver the advanced functionality they need to defend against modern threats, while keeping usability at their core. Over the last year the company introduced several innovative solutions, and last month they added new capabilities that further strengthen protection against evolving threats.

In August this year, KKR, a global investment firm, completed its acquisition of Barracuda from Thoma Bravo. This move has set on track for next phase of growth, and as highlighted by the CEO, Hatem Naguib, Barracuda will continue to invest in its team and product portfolio to provide innovative cybersecurity solutions for customers and partners.
