For its inaugural presence at GITEX Africa, Canon will unveil the “World Unseen” campaign through an exclusive photography exhibition. This unique exhibition invites visitors—including those who are blind, partially sighted, and sighted—to experience photography in an innovative, immersive way.
The “World Unseen” exhibition goes beyond a simple showcase; it offers a transformative, multi-sensory experience. It connects individuals, including those with visual impairments, to powerful images and stories through elevated prints, audio descriptions, soundscapes, and braille, fostering inclusivity and a deeper appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Designed with blind and partially sighted individuals in mind, the exhibition features photographs by world-renowned photographers such as multi-award-winning South African photojournalist Brent Stirton, renowned Brazilian photojournalist Sebastião Salgado, Nigerian photojournalist Yagazie Emezi, sports photographer Samo Vidic, fashion photographer Heidi Rondak, and Pulitzer-winning photojournalist Muhammed Muheisen.
