Redington Value to reduce technology friction through innovation

The regional value-added distributor is showcasing its latest offerings at GITEX Global

WSO2 and Microsoft partners to roll out cloud-native solutions

In line with its efforts to shrink the growing technology friction, which is the gap between innovation rates versus adoption rates, Redington Value over the past couple of years rolled out key initiatives and services to accelerate digitalisation agendas.

“Today, everyone understands that they must think and act digital to thrive in a digital-led world,” said Sayantan Dev, President, Redington Value.

“This means having the capacity and processes in place to adopt new technologies faster. This is only possible by embracing agility and data-driven decision-making, which is easier said than done. Our aim is to empower partners and customers to accelerate digital transformations.”

Among the key initiatives by Redington is ‘The Pitch Room by Redington’, powered by Microsoft, helped channel partners capitalize on solutions from Azure-native Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Building on the initiative’s success in the UAE, the company now plans to extend ‘The Pitch Room by Redington’ to different regions.

Another programme is ‘The Vertical’ by Redington, a series of events that will showcase tailored industry-specific digital solutions. The first chapter of the initiative featured Ed-Tech Summit, an exclusive closed-door event where industry veterans addressed key challenges in education with best-of-breed solutions powered by AWS.

Redington also recently launched its Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) brand – DigiGlass by Redington.

Additionally, over the past year, the distributor has seen a significant rise in the number of partners leveraging its intelligent cloud management platform CloudQuarks. Now the company has embarked on a journey to release an improved and enhanced version 2 of CloudQuarks. With many new features, the enhanced version has been updated with feedback from partners.

Under the theme of ‘Accelerating Transformation – Addressing Technology Friction, Delivering Innovation’, the regional value-added distributor is participating at the 42nd edition of GITEX Global.
