Epicor collaborates with Climatiq Technologies to help supply chain businesses with sustainability goals

Epicor plans to roll out these features in the coming month, with full implementation expected in 2025.

Epicor, an enterprise software company, has announced a collaboration with Climatiq Technologies GmBH to introduce advanced carbon intelligence calculations and reporting into its suite of Sustainability Management solutions.

In its announcement at Epicor Insights Europe 2024, Epicor stated this alliance will allow it to introduce carbon calculations into its industry-focused ERP platforms, enabling customers to access accurate, real-time carbon calculations, track emissions, and identify key opportunities to reduce their carbon footprint.

Integrating Climatiq’s carbon footprint calculation API across the Epicor portfolio will help businesses work toward sustainability goals without compromising profitability.

Epicor plans to roll out these features in the coming month, with full implementation expected in 2025.

“We’re excited to work with Climatiq to assist our customers in reaching their sustainability goals and boosting profitability while reducing emissions,” said Kerrie Jordan, Group Vice President of Product Management at Epicor. “I’m incredibly proud of our team’s achievements in making this vision a reality.”

Sustainability, defined as using resources more slowly than they’re replaced, is now crucial for competitiveness—not just in response to regulatory requirements but as a long-term business strategy to optimize supply chain processes and drive efficiencies.

“Our collaboration with Epicor highlights our dedication to helping organisations integrate sustainability into their daily operations,” said Hessam Lavi, Co-founder and CEO at Climatiq. “This alliance is a major step towards removing the barriers that have historically kept sustainability data separate from business processes. Now, Epicor users can seamlessly align their economic, service, and environmental objectives.”
