The Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office has revealed a strategic collaboration with Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy to provide specialised digital training to 5,000 UAE nationals.

Saqr bin Ghalib, Executive Director at the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, said fostering expertise in emerging technologies directly aligns with the goal of the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence to boost individual competencies and support jobs of the future.

Through a series of workshops, participants will gain awareness, hands-on experience and strategic knowledge across fields like AI, cybertech, data and fintech.

ADGMA Chairman Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei called the partnership “a crucial investment” that will not only develop specialised domestic talent, but advance Abu Dhabi and the nation’s innovative vision.

Since launching, the academy has seen huge success qualifying Emiratis for prominent sector roles. This large-scale upskilling initiative presents an opportunity to reinforce that impactful work.

With industries undergoing radical change, lifelong education will be vital for career longevity in the digital age. The collaboration demonstrates the UAE’s proactive commitment to creating a future-proof workforce equipped to thrive within a knowledge economy.

Analysts hailed the alignment with national priorities while supporting individuals and the private sector. The training is set to kick off next year on the sidelines of GITEX and promises to boost national competitiveness through a skilled talent pool.
